The top women tennis players in the world head to The Land for the inaugural Tennis in the Land, a WTA 250 event, on August 22-28, 2021 at Jacobs Pavilion at Nautica.

As part of the prestigious U.S. Open Series, this one-week tournament marks one of the biggest women’s sporting events to take place in Northeast Ohio and will connect Cleveland to the highest levels of the sport on an annual basis.

A stadium court will be constructed under the pavilion with stunning views of the river and Downtown, with the construction of five additional courts completing the overall venue. With 54 total matches across the week-long event, a field of 32 singles players and 16 doubles teams will entertain fans as they compete for $300k in prizes and WTA rankings points.

Volunteer recruitment is OPEN and we are looking for help in the following ways:

• Ballpersons

• Player Services Assistants

• Credential Assistants

• Ticket Scanners/Box Office Assistants

• Ushers

• And More!

​As a volunteer, you may be asked to fill in at a different position based on need. Volunteers will receive free parking, a meal, and an event t-shirt to wear while they are working the tournament. A ticket to the event will be provided if you sign up and attend at least two (2) volunteer shifts throughout the week.
